UPDATE: These beds have been shedding all over the house for the past several weeks. We even tried washing them in the washing machine to see if we could get a handle on the fuzz that comes off the beds. At this rate I’m not sure what’ll be left on the bed in a few months. Really disappointing…We’ve bought several dog beds over the years and most are complete trash that do not last the year. These seem well built, come with a good warranty, and are extremely soft. Aside from the initial shedding, the beds are loved by our pets and we hope they last a while.

My greyhound, Gloriaestefan, likes to lay facing me, but needs a bit of cushion for her bony legs. The pet bed is the perfect size & softness for her, even if she can’t find center! It seems as though the pet hair shakes out easily, but it’s too new to know how well it launders. When we travel, it will fit nicely in her kennel.

I was looking for a simple space for my dog to rest on. She has bolster beds for ‘serious’ sleeping but was looking for something in front of the sofa for when we watch TV. As a puppy, she had a habit of chewing her new beds. I liked this one as it has a raised edge and my dog loves to rest her head on something. Came on time, well packaged and she loves it. She does use the raised edge to place her head on while resting. I can not comment on chewing or not, because when left alone, I still remove all dog beds for safety reasons. It is furrier than I expected and a bit brighter in color, but the dog gives it 5stars!

My pup is crate trained for sleeping and I keep a travel carrier downstairs for a daytime retreat (although he typically only wants to use that when I’m not home). He’s a 5 lb pup, so he has an appropriately-sized travel carrier and the 18 inch bed is perfect for it! I actually keep 3 of these total in the house because, for night, he has a 30″ crate with a pee pad in the front and an elevated bed in the back, with one of these and a plush puppy friend for extra comfort. My 13 week old puppy willingly climbs up into this fluffy bed to go to sleep.

Got this yesterday fits perfect in the new crate. I Love the elastic to hold it in place. Can’t say this one is chew proof (I’m optimistic though as the last one lasted a while, but did eventually get a hole in it and then it was game on to get the stuffing out) they are washable in a washer, last one was white and looked tatty after a while so I bought the grey one this time. There is no real padding in the center it’s mainly a bolster around the outside but I put a blanket in there too for a little more padding.

SEE PHOTOS: Midwest has shrunk the 22″ pads by a full 2″ each direction, but they have not changed the measurements on the listing. Many complaints of this in Reviews in multiple sizes and neither Midwest nor Amazon has done anything about it. The so-called 22″ pad will be exactly 20″x12″. This is such a difference it is too small for my 11 lb mini dachshund.I originally ordered the cream sherpa 22″ a couple yrs ago. Exact measurements to the outside of the bolster were originally 22″x14″. Pad is good, so I ordered 3 more and my Mom ordered 3 in the pretty tan color. Stated measurements are wrong in both the Option buttons and bullet points. Now I have to go through all the nonsense of returning 4 separate boxes. Amazon also sent 2 of them, (weighing 12 oz each and measuring 20″x12″) alone, in a box half the size of my piano.

I just put it in the crate today, so I can’t attest to durability. So, far my dog isn’t chewing it, but she is past the puppy stage where she chewed on everything. It is a snug fit, however, in the Midwest Pet Supply dog crate it’s supposed to be designed for. The corners of the bed are rounded (it probably saved a few cents) rather than square. Otherwise it would have fit a lot better and covered every inch of the crate. When companies do things like this, it irritates me.It also has virtually no padding except around the edges. I’d say it is thinner than a pancake, but it would be a slight exaggerration. I’m going to have to put another bed under it.

I bought this product as “used- very good” – it arrived full of dog hair and actually dirty and stinky. I was blown away that they would even ship it in the condition it was in. I missed my return deadline and gave it to someone who rescues. With that being said, the bed was of mediocre standards. It appeared to be very waterproof and had nice straps to fit inside of a crate. I would not buy this item again because I felt it had very little padding

While this fits our cage for our Daniff perfectly, that’s about all I can say as to positives on this pet bed.Sheds like CRAZY! You’ll be going nuts in no time picking up lint balls that shed from the bed material. They’ll be all over your carpet. I guess the plus is you’ll be forced to vacuum the areas around the bed a ton as well.My 2 cents: if you’re shopping for a pet bed, don’t buy this one. Otherwise, remember I told you so!

We paid 10.88 for the 36 inch white fleece bed/mat for our two BIG cats to share. It was an instant hit. The low bolster edge is perfect as a chin rest and comforting to be slightly closed in. We haven’t washed it yet, but it looks like it will be no problem to throw in the washer and dryer whenever needed. We were so pleased with it that two days after it arrived we ordered a second one for another room. I can see how these beds/mats would be great as kennel or carrier liners but we use ours in the house as cat beds, one on a large dresser and one on a large ottoman or the floor under the ottoman.Already considering getting one for a friend who has a dog. The friend has a small scatter rug that is the dog’s spot when he has a messy treat or bone. I think this bed/mat would be ideal to replace the rug system because it’s so easy to wash and much much more comfortable. Will watch the price on other sizes. Single cat size would be great for my mom for her cat that sheds and has “her” spots. Throwing down a couple of these beds/mats would be much easier to control the cat hair by throwing them in the washer routinely.

It is 20 x 12! The only reason I will keep is it fits the window shelf perfect. The fur is nice but there is no cushion or padding in the middle it is only a thin layer of material and the size is puny not for a crate at all. But it does fit the window shelf that hangs in the window sold on Amazon so I will keep it, but it had to fit a crate only I would return. Beware only 1 dimension listed and you would have to pull it to a hard stretch to make that claim of 22 inches it is only 20 x 12.

I ordered this for my golden pup at 7 weeks and was pleasantly surprised it’s quite good quality. Now at 9.5 weeks, she still fits on it with plenty of room. Color is a lovely shade of baby pink, material is soft and has luckily held up well after multiple washes due to a few wee accidents, although weirdly the pee stain turned sort of grayish blue. Not sure why, perhaps something reacted to it in the wash. My girl is mouthy and sometimes likes to chew on the bolster part, but so far there have been no tears in the fabric. Mostly she takes naps on it and looks adorable. I know she won’t fit on it a few months from now, but hey for 11 bucks it’s a great deal.

This is a nice little bed mat however, the description does not meet what is shown so be aware the dimensions are not accurate as you can see by the picture. What is shown in the description says the length is 18 inches however and they show a diagram however the only way you get 18 inches is if you measure it diagonally as I have shown in my pictures. Now that aside, I can fit it in my pet carrier okay. It is soft, and spongy feeling. It will not quite big enough to fit what I purchased it for since it is not quite 18 inches long. I will still keep it for the carrier and I may consider getting the next size up as I imagine that is not really 22 inches and may work for what I have planned. It is because of the sizing that I have not given it 5 stars.
Marvelous Bunny –
This dog bed is extremely well-made. It has elastic straps to anchor it table or a chair. I put it on the seat of my rollator and its very handy. that’s where my little dog likes to stay. It’s sturdy enough and the dogs really seem to like it. The best thing I like about it is the price. I only get it when it’s on sale so mine cost me about $6 + even if it’s a couple of dollars more I’ll still go for it. I’m not paying $20 for it that’s for sure. They wash pretty well but bulky I suggest using a pillow cover and washing that.

If I could give these crate pads zero stars I would do so! They arrived today and I washed them to go with my elderly Mother’s little dog to his new home. Washed on cold, dried on low and took them out as soon as they were dry. The bolsters had 8 to 10 inches of the bolster with ZERO padding in it. I am assuming it shrunk. I will never purchase Midwest crate pads ever again. I had purchased AKC brand but they did not have a 22″ size available on Amazon. I did the same routine with the AKC crate pads when they arrived a few days earlier and they washed and dried just fine. VERY disappointed but no time to return.

I washed it when I got it and there were so many fibers in the washing machine that I had to run a machine wash cycle. I then dryed it on low heat as instructed and the fibers were then all over the inside of the dryer. There were clumps of it coming off even after drying. So much actually that I just took it straight outside to avoid getting them all over my house. Returned and will not buy again. Very disappointing.

I bought one of these mats because of the size when I purchased some different ones that I thought the cats would like. My two, large, cats did not like the other mats I purchased and fought over this one. These mats are supposed to be for small dog cages. They even have elastic on the back corners to loop under the cage base. My cats absolutely loved it, so, I purchased several more to place all over the house for them. They are just the right size for my large cats. The mats also appear to help collect the massive amounts of fur that the cats shed.I have not washed the mats yet, but they appear to be of good quality for the price. I don’t foresee any issues with washing them. (I have a front-loading washer.)

I like this product–on initial inspection It is as well made as more expensive one I own (American Kennel Club). However, it was short–rather than 18″ long it was 17″ from outer edge to outer edge, or one inch (30 mm) short. The width was 12″ which was probably correct. You may notice that the dimensions are completely incorrect for the 18″ size under the product description (1.5 x 1 x 0.2 inches). The only thing you have to go on is the statement above that it is “for use with 18″ crates or as a stand alone bed.”Other than that, time will tell how it holds up to laundering (I haven’t laundered the other one yet, either). I also ordered the wrong size – I should have ordered the 22″ – but of course that isn’t the fault of the product. I have to say that the price is right so I can’t complain too much. It may well fit the average 18″ crate without much in the way of a gap, but of course I don’t know that as I have no 18″ carrier. I will probably try the 22” size and see how it does in my larger carrier.

Texture wise this is very soft to the touch but it is not very thick at all. It provides minimal padding between the kennel floor and your pet.I do appreciate that it fits the kennel exactly, and it held up well to being scrubbed and such 3-4 times already, although our puppy took to digging at it and tuffs of “fuzzy” fur like material came off in clumps which we worried he might eat, so we did end up taking this out of his kennel until hes a bit older

Totally worth the price without a doubt it was amazing for my little mango ( my dogs name ) he adored it. anyone who has had a dog since puppy stage will know that they like to sleep in the most uncomfortable looking positions and in places you could never imagine. this was soft to touch as a human and was easier to clean than i thought it would have been. He no longer fully fits in it however it has been a great trainer for him i take it as his travel bed along with another that he actually fits in ( it is travel friendly ) because it is something of comfort for him. i definitely don’t regret this purchases.p.s. I am writing this review years after purchase and thorough use, and it still holds after years of having it.

My pup will be 2 in April. He’s an AmStaff and a chewer. We had hoped he’d grown out of the destruction mode. We placed this bed in his crate and first thing he bites it. Corrected and redirected to his bone. Even put bitter apple spray on the edges. That night he went to bed and when we checked on him less 30 minutes later the bed was destroyed. Stuffing everywhere. Still finding the “cinnamon “ colored fuzz through the house. ????( the Cinnamon color reminded me of awful 70’s Shag carpet) If you have a chewer don’t waste your time on this bed.

This is our second MidWest bolster pet bed; the original is several years old and still in great shape. We just wanted to have one in each location where the dog sleeps. This new one looks a lot like the original but has a stiffer base layer. I washed it right out of the packaging, since all of us are sensitive to smells. Using an old school washer with an agitator, I washed it on gentle then dried it on low heat. It came out fine, just like the original bed which has been washed 10-15 times. Our dog seems to really like the soft bolster around the outside edge and often rests her chin on it. I can’t comment on the durability of the fabric; we generally keep a light top layer (something easy to wash) on top of this bolster, suited to the time of year. And our dog is not a chewer.

I wanted to get this as a stand-alone bed for my new kitten but it’s not really as thick and cushioned as I’d like. It was great for her travel carrier though! So, not really great as a every day bed but good for transportation. I left it on top of her cat tower and she seems to enjoy it there. She likes the material its made of (she rubs her cheeks on it all the time) and it seems to be well made, but the material clings to fur so it’s a litter hard to clean. I haven’t put it through the washing machine yet but I’ll update when/if I do!

Pro dog trainer for 30 years, sez this is a great crate mat. I have used these crate mats for years. I use a thick waterproof crate pad on the bottom of the crate and use this mat on top. They wash well and stand up to time. Nothing is chew proof. The young chewers in my home get an old towel in their crate. If they are chewers and eaters of fabric they get nothing until they out grow the behavior. No trips to the veterinarian that way. I’m getting older and can’t reach into the back of the crate. With the sturdy bumper on this mat, it makes it easy to flatten out and reach the back of the crate on the first try. The older dogs like to rest their head on the bumper, like a pillow for humans.

I ordered this in the grey color (in 2 different sizes) to replace the soft pet bed liners that originally came with my dog’s stroller & one of his carry-bags. They were shipped very quickly, but most importantly, the quality is SUPERB! They are thickly padded & super-comfy! They light grey is a lovely dove grey with a slight silvery sheen to it. (And the sizing I selected was spot-on, too.) They also passed the ultimate test: My dog jumped on one as soon as it came out of the box & he took a nap on it immediately! He approves, I approve, and WE highly recommend these to you. ***Just measure the space you wish to fill & then order the closest size-match. Order up an inch or two if you must, because you can always bend one end up & make it into a head-rest (lol). Give new life to an existing pet carrier or crate, Or buy these to keep as clean spares in case of a spill or an ‘accident’. These are definite winners!

Very disappointed! We just moved into our new house and I ordered brown to match our living room and when I opened it up it was BURNT ORANGE! not happy, I would have sent it back but the dogs already lay in it but I am NOT happy about the color! Don’t order brown because it’s NOT brown!

I like this little dog bed. Unfortunately my dog didn’t. It was too small for him as a free standing bed. It’d be perfect for his crate, though. It is exactly the dimensions the ad stated. It’s my fault for not getting bigger ones; I had ordered 2. They are soft, sturdy, and very cute. That said, my daughter’s cats love them. I would definitely order this dog bed again, but I’ll get a larger size. I got the cinnamon colored ones and it’s a great color. I recommend this dog bed, just be sure of your measurements.
Alisha –
My bunny uses this as a play toy more than he does as a bed, flipping it over and digging at it. But when he’s in a good mood, he licks at it as if it were another bunny. It’s pretty cute! Definitely durable and nice quality for the price. I think he sleeps on it at night when he’s cold, but I’m really not sure. I’m sure dogs and more cuddly bunnies would love to snuggle up in it. Make sure you read the dimensions because it is not super big. Definitely a good size for a bunny rabbit. I just love those moments of calm when he actually sits in it and looks super cute and cozy. It’s definitely a beloved part of my rabbit’s territory.
Shawna Crawford –
Love it for our 3.4lb yorkie. Fits perfect in crate and we have washed it twice and laid out to dry. Always looks brand new again and feels the same as when I received it. Has a wool like feel so not to soft and not to tough. Perfect for a puppy not to chew the material off. It hasn’t happened yet but I think if our dog put his mind to it he may could chew through the plastic on the bottom when he tugs it through the house with his puppy teeth but so far so good. That would be my only concern but I’d buy it again and just put duck tape over it to keep him from doing it again if it came to it, that’s how much I truly like it
Warren W Hein –
The bed fits perfectly in our crate with elastic straps on the corners to hold the bed in place. Unfortunately, one of our dogs was able to pull the bed in such a way that two of the elastic strips detached. However, she has not chewed the bed unlike a previous bed that she pretty much destroyed. We have two of these for two black labs and I usually clean them by vacuuming the hair periodically. I have not washed them yet since we really have not had any incidents such as barfing in the bed that would require washing.
firemansflame28 –
I bought this for our extra large crate. I have two elderly pups, and a young pup. One corgi, a dachshund, and a chiwheenie. It does what it needs. Provide a clean, comfortable place for them to sleep. I wash their bedding regularly, either for enthusiastic diggers, or an old corgi that sometimes tinkles on the bed. It’s fairly easy to wash. I got the 48 inch as it fits our crate perfect. I’ve not had any issues, but this is not a thick bed. It serves the purpose.

I got tempted by the price (it was a huge sale) and I got what I paid for. This is the worst pet bed I’ve ever seen and bought.Pros:- None.Cons:- The material is very rough, not comfortable at all. My dog keeps scratching the “fluff” off. She does not like it. It feels like it was bleached and air-dried. Very rough!- The size is super small.- The base of this bed is super thin, no support for the pet at all.I do not recommend this pet bed. There are a ton of better ones out there!

We have exactly five of these. I ordered 4 small ones to put in our puppy crates upstairs (for sleep) and downstairs (if we have to crate them when we leave the house). The fifth, I ordered for our older senior dog who was feeling left out.First – the beds are a great value. They aren’t the plushest in the world, but they WASH UP GREAT! They are thin enough to just toss in the washer, and they dry and come out perfect. Having two puppies, you can imagine how many times we’ve had to wash them already. They are also standing up to puppy chewing. In one photo, you will see the state of my one puppy’s crate after leaving him for 3 hours. We put some paper down on the floor each day to absorb any accidents (so far none, but just in case). When we get home, the paper is generally shredded. Yet note that the bed is still intact. I can’t imagine that the puppy just chews the paper – thus I can say with some certainty that the bed is standing up to some hard use.In another photo, you will see my poor senior dog Gunner. We bought him a bed because he was left out. He is 75 pounds of Chow Mix – and you can see, I bought the bed a bit too small…LOL. He didn’t care – he hopped right on it!I highly recommend grabbing more than one of these. They take up hardly any room, and when you’ve got one in the washer – you will have another as a spare.

I ordered the “cat” size one which is smaller but definitely big enough to fit even a good sized cat. The bed is really nice and my cat seems to like this bed quite a bit and he looks very comfortable in it while sleeping. The material is soft and the overall quality is very good for such an inexpensive item ($9). You would pay an arm and a leg for something like this at a petstore, so this bed is fantastic and wonderful for the price. My cat was sleeping it on the first day I put it on the ground next to window. Very good and affordable bed for your pet. Definitely recommended.

It’s decent for the price. It’s not as soft as I had hoped but I don’t think my cats mind. I got the 18” bed and it fits my 13 lb cat tightly when he feels like sleeping coiled up (he really seems to like the walls to keep him hugged in) and he often sleeps draped over the side and he doesn’t seem to mind the walls when he does that. Our 6 lb cat likes it too, and she has much more room to spread out. We don’t use this in a crate, and it slides around a lot on our bedspread. (Weird place for a cat bed, I know!) I chose the orange bed because it’s better for camouflaging my cats’ hair.

My dog likes to pitch fits every so often and destroy his beds. After having yet another $70 bed be ripped and destuffed I told him he can’t have nice things anymore. This was on sale for $17 when I found it and figured if he destroys this one it won’t be as big of a deal to replace. He’s been using it for a while now. I keep an old blanket on top to help preserve it. It’s still alive for now lol He fits well as a GSD on the 48″ bed.One plus is its light so I can pick it up and hide it if I catch him getting fussy with it. Another plus is the poofy sides. He likes to use it as a pillow… or not lolOne negative is there is not a lot of padding on the bottom which is another reason why I add the blanket.A good purchase overall though.
AZ Prime Member –
Love of it but not very padded in the middle. I expected it to be softer but there really uses not much middle passing. . The pad fit perfectly in a 48” kennel and the elastic straps really work to keep it from bunching up. The main con is that it sheds. I have pics of it all around the kennel. I’m not sure how long this will last since I’m already seeing bald spots and it’s been less than two weeks.
Jean Grey –
This has been the best bolster I have ever purchased. It is soft and well-cushioned. I have 12 cats and dogs, and I am fostering kittens. I bought this to line the newborn kitten kennel where they sleep. They are too young for weaning or litter box training, so when they urinated on this bolster, the bolster’s fabric was water-resistant enough that all I had to do was pour the urine right out of the bolster into the toilet and simply blot the remaining slight dampness with a paper towel. I was so impressed! When I decided to wash it, it washed beautifully and looked better than new. It has a convenient small white poly loop at one end for hanging. The newborns are very warm sleeping together on it, which is important because newborn kittens cannot regulate their body temperature yet and need to be kept warm. Highly recommended.

This bed is soft and looks cute; my cat took to it immediately. But as you can see from the photos, it is tiny! It’s 16 1/2”, not 18 inches. We have a 19” bed that my cats fight over, so I wanted to get another one and figured this was close enough in size. But every inch counts, and this is just too small for my cats. The description is inaccurate, so I can’t give it more than 3 stars, even though it’s soft and seems well made.

My puppy loves his bed. He chews a lot. Actually he tore his old bed to shreds. This one is much sturdier. At first he messed with the furry stuff so I put it in a pillowcase, which stopped that. He’s used to it now and I don’t need to do that any more. It does shed fuzz when new, but it washes very easily in the washer and dryer, which took care of the fuzz. I love this bed so much, and the price is right, so I just bought a second one for upstairs.

I got this for my cats. One of my large indoor ones likes to sleep in it. So much so that since then I purchased another for outdoor/garage cats. They all love it! Perfect size for one adult. I regularly see three 12-week old kittens lay in it at once. It’s not really thick. Being fleece it is just warm enough. Would be perfect for a carrier too. I got white ones. Easy to launder.

Greetings,This is a very well made bed for a small terrier, or cat. I finally settled on placing it under my computer desk when not being used in my kitty cat’s travel carrier. It is of excellent quality and looks to be easily machine washable. But alas, kitty cat does not use it much and don’t know why. I had hoped to throw out his old bed that is rather shop worn and dingy. But I will keep trying as I look for a placement that he likes. ;-)July 2021: Hooray! Kitty uses it now. Just a matter of placement. I moved it behind my computer chair and I find him curled up fast asleep behind me most every night.

It was a good price, and fits well in our crate. It just constantly sheds pieces of fuzz all over the house! I thought it would calm down after a few days, but it has not stopped shedding fuzz everywhere. I have to vaccuum several times a day, more than I do for the dog hair! It’s soft, not really thick because it’s just basically a crate mat – but the shedding is too much for me. I will try something different in the future!
MrsG –
The best thing I can say about this bed is that its big enough for our 210lb Mastiff. His favorite bed was ruined in a wash cycle leaving his prissy butt with nowhere to sleep that is good enough for him. However, the bed has zero stuffing or padding on the inside and it’s like laying down a piece of fabric, therefore he won’t sleep in it and spends all night trying to get into our bed or our other dogs bed which they both can’t fit in, and we’re left with yet another dog bed we can’t do anything with except throw out.

This is a beautiful pet bed, soft, well made, pretty. HOWEVER the description states 18 X 12 X 2. Actual pkg. insert states clearly 17 X 12 X 2. The one I received is 16 5/8/ X 10 5/8 X 2. Useable space approximately 13 X 8. If you have a very small pet, this will work fine, but for my 10.75 lb. kitty, there is no way she will fit and it is much too small for her 18,75″ carrier. Yes, it will “fit” an 18″ carrier, but with a lot of space left over all around the bed. I contacted Amazon about my concerns and they promptly refunded my money. I didn’t even have to return the item. Thank you Amazon for great customer service.

I have two mats from this company. The first mat I bought for my pup’s crate was more expensive, thicker, more durable, more comfortable and well worth the money! He has chewed and actively dug on that mat for months now and it’s held up well. This one, the cheaper version is not chew-proof nor as thick. He was literally chewing the fuzz right off it until I took it away. It is “dig-proof” though for those with that concern.

My cat who is approximately 8lbs, maybe more by now, loves to sleep on top of the cupboard so thought I’d add a pillow for her comfort. At first she was annoyed, bit it multiple times and even tossed it off the cupboard. Now she appreciates the additional comfort to one of her napping areas. It’s wedged between some boxes. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet so can’t comment on that. I bought the black for another spot but it was unavailable at my second purchase so I ended up getting this white one. I had reservations about the material and colour because her soft crate has a similar style base and it traps dust/food particles easily and has gotten stained but this pillow is washable and she’s only resting on it so I’m not too bothered!

I bought this bed to fit a 30″ crate for my 20 pound English Beagle. It’s a decent value and does fit the crate nicely. The reason for the 3 star review is that it attracts and holds odors, and even with machine washing it is difficult to remove them. I am thinking of sewing a cover for the bed to mitigate the problem. It may be the artificial fur that’s holding the scent, or something else intrinsic to the materials, but whatever it is I’m not a fan.

This product is okay for the purpose of placing in a dog crate. We bought another thicker pad to place underneath as this product is not very thick on the contact side between the crate and dog. Additionally, when washed the bumper material all shifted to one side, so one bumper side is empty of filler while a small section on the other side is packed with filler. The worst aspect of this pad is the shedding of the material, I would have thought that after a couple of washings the shedding would have stopped, but here we are 7 months later and the shedding has not stopped. I’m done with this pad!

This bed is pretty much what you’d expect for the price. That’s not to say that it’s not a good quality bed, it’s just not some huge, fluffy, luxurious dog bed. However, it’s not advertised as such, either, so you’re getting exactly what is advertised. I thought it would be a little more substantial, but it’s not. I guess I should have read the description better, so that’s my fault. This is really best for crate use or for traveling/on the go.It’s not a thick, comfy bed that your dog would want to use on a daily basis. It’s pretty thin, so it’s only a slight step up from sleeping on the carpet. My dog does like it, though, so there’s that. It’s definitely worth the cost and it’s well-made. I have a 7-month-old German Shepherd who is on the smaller side (she’s 48 pounds) and this bed is a cozy fit. She won’t be able to use it over the long-term, but it should be fine for the time-being. She especially likes the sides which are thick and stand up because of the filling. She uses the side of the blanket as a pillow for her head, so that’s a nice plus.I gave it five stars because I can’t knock the bed for not being something it doesn’t claim to be. Just be aware, if you’re looking for a daily bed that is thick and fluffy, this isn’t it. If you want a crate pad or a bed you can use in the car or on vacation, this is perfect.

We bought the pink and white 24 inch beds. Both fit perfectly in the crate. The pink one is great! Extremely durable. Hold ups against puppy digging and accidents. 5 stars for quality and comfort. The white one is already trashed. The 4lb puppy likes to dig and the fleece is not holding up at all. Pay the extra money for one of the colored beds. Both beds are easily washable in the washer.

We chose this model because it fit the wire kennel we bought and the raised padded perimeter rail seemed like a nice feature. But the base layer has hardly any padding (maybe a 1/2″ sheet of foam inside) so we wound up buying a layer of 1.5″ foam (bed topper) and cutting a piece to fit underneath this mat. There are no zippers on this model, so none of the padding can be removed and any extra you buy can’t be inserted. One the upside, it washes well and dries quickly. But I’m not happy that my dog cage has an extra layer of foam visible to compensate for this one being so skimpy.

OMG, the stupid cat is obsessed with this little bed! I payed like $7 for the small version (which is very small, barely the specified dimensions) and she is it all day long, so it must be very comfortable and warm for her. She is not interested in itting in anyone’s lap anymore! The inside has a little bit of a foil crackle to it, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but she seems to like the sound of that too. The bottom does not have any grip to it, she likes to jump onto it and slide a few inches! But others might like it to stay put a little better.

We recently adopted an American Mastiff puppy, and she loves her bed! It’s very soft, and I love the raised edges because the pup will lay her head on the edges when she sleeps. The elastic straps are WONDERFUL for ensuring the bed stays in place in the crate! We pet sat for a 6mo old puppy who only had blankets for his crate, and so many nights that pup would end up sleeping directly on the hard plastic b/c the blankets wouldn’t stay in place, so again, having those elastic bands are great for securing the bed in place, and I have peace of mind that she’s nice and comfy in her “den”!

I just brought home my puppy and we are in the process of potty training. I did not want anything expensive but soft enough for him to sleep on. He seems to like it. The most important part is if he should happen to soil this bed, this product will not break the bank. I purchased a second one for back up. When my pup gets the hang of potty training I will splurgeIt is also a good purchase for families who may be watching their budget, this purchase is good.

I put this in as a bed for her cage. She daily scratches, bites, yanks and pulls on her bed when she’s in a playful mood. A few times she’s pulled it out and around the house, it doesn’t have one hole in it, even with all the abuse. She sleeps on it by choice (she has three to choose from). She loves it so I would highly recommend it. As far as cleaning, I just use the hose on my vacuum and vacuum it. The only reason I did not give it five stars on to prove is because she can pull the stuffing off but it usually takes days of her scratching and biting on it. It has been through a lot and it still looks brand new.

We live in FL and it’s hot 98% of the time. I didn’t want a thick bed that absorbed a lot of heat and this one seems to do the trick. She can’t really lay on the super cushy edges without laying her head into the crate (we got the size that was suggested for her crate size) and the inside part is really no thicker than two towels put together. If you’re looking for joint relief for an older dog, probably not right for you. If you’re looking for a non-heat absorbing bed that gives minimal cushion, this is it. P.S. NOT chew proof. My dog is not a chewer but just the quality would make it easy to rip apart.UPDATE: We’ve put this in the washer sooo many times and it still comes out like new.

The bottom of this liner is too thin to be regularly used alone on a hard surface. I guess some people might, but I wouldn’t use this in a kennel as the only padding. It would be great on top of another pad though. Since I washed it, it sheds like you would not believe. I don’t even care about lint, usually, but there’s just so much. Anything that goes near it gets totally fuzzed up and it’s hard to get off. The real problem with that is that it gets in my dog’s eyes (and mine).I got this to go on top of the vinyl dog hammock in the back seat of my car, so my dog could sit and rest on a washable cozy thing instead of sticky plastic, and have a barrier from her food and water when it spills. It works really well for that, and it also works well as a temporary bed when we’re visiting family for an evening. She is trained to go lie down on her bed when cued, so we have her do that before she has a chance to wear out her welcome.I am really glad I got a good open box deal on this product, because the price I paid makes it a good value for me. It was in perfect shape with tags on and everything. We’ve gotten a lot of use out of it even though it’s super fuzzy! Hopefully the fuzz will calm down with repeated washings.

My dog it is not a very aggressive chewer. But I have four. I know this material can be chew in minutes, so, if you have a chewing little friend, I would not recommend this bed. It is made of the same material that cheap toys and veterinarians do not like it due to the risk to obstruct theirs intestine.Machine washable, yes, and pretty well, with a serious issue. The lateral filing will desplace towards one side during washing and it is complicated, to say the least, to manually redistribute the filling material. Otherwise one side it will be hard, and the other will not have any filing. The positive note it is that I have wash them half dozen times (air dried, not in the air dryer) and they seem to hold very well. No loss of color intensity (blue color) and no evidence of deterioration due to machine washing.Softness it is fine out of the box, but as you wash it, the filing material redistributes and loses his softness in some places.Would I by it again? Yes. Price wise it is reasonable, and overall it does the purpose. There is place for improvement, but in my case pros outweighs cons.

Can’t rate the chew-proof, since the chewer hasn’t gone to work on it as yet. The quality is nice. The color isn’t what I was expecting from the pictures online. The cinnamon is sort of a pukey reddish-yellow raisin color, hence 4-stars. But since Chewer is likely to destroy it in short order, the color will then be irrelevant.Again, the product quality is very nice.

I originally bought the small cream colored sherpa and loved it for my cat carrier. So I ordered a large for under the bed for her to sleep on. But I ordered the grey. The grey is not made of the same fabric, not soft, not sherpa! It’s more of a shiny cheap feeling fuzzy fur. The price was cheap so I guess I can’t complain. I just wish it was soft fabric like the cream colored sherpa bed.

I ordered the 22″ dog bed, what came looked too small to be 22 inch. I measured it and as you can see it measures as an 18″ but is labeled as a 22 inch. I am not too happy with this purchase or company and do not recommend it. I am not going to go through the hassle of returning it as thankfully my dog will barely still fit, but I was hoping she’d have room to stretch out.

Ok I needed a small bed for one of my cats to Sleep in for computer desk while I’m on it. She stepped in it twice and walked away no big surprise they eventually come around and sleep. So I threw it on my bed and didn’t think much of it again until my bigger chunky cat came around saw it ( her pic above) and since than she took over it completely even if she might be spilling out of it a little. This is the smallest size it’s the perfect pink same as shown cushiony it’s OK I wouldn’t say it’s the softest bed but it’s better than my hard desk. Good for the price.

MidWest Quiet Time Fashion Pet BedI got the 24″ size of this bed and it fits my crate perfectly. I actually plan on using it for a puppy we are adding to our family next month. This bed is perfect because it is not super plush or filled with cotton filling. Since puppies love to chew, I didn’t want anything that could be eaten and cause a blockage. The other upside to that is that it will not hold body heat. I live in the desert so there is never a time of year that I want my pet bed to be heated!!! It fits the cage perfectly end to end and side to side so there is no floor space that isn’t covered and it will keep the puppy from sliding around in the car. It also looks like it is going to be super easy to clean in the washing machine. The pet hair should easily roll off this material a opposed to the sherpa or woven beds that it just sticks in. I am very pleased and will end up ordering a larger size as the puppy grows. THe cat hasn’t gotten off of this one since it came so it looks like I may have to order her one, too!!From Amazon…For use with 24-Inch Crates, or as a stand alone bedIdeal for pets 11 to 25 poundsIdeal for Use in Crates, Carriers, Dog Houses, VehiclesKeeps Pets Cool in the Summer, Warm in the WinterCompletely Machine Washable, Ultra-Soft Synthetic Sheepskin or Plush Fur

Our Havanese puppy seems to like this bed. I find the fabric a little rough compared to other beds I bought him. Some reviewers mention that it softens after being washed. I will try that. It’s the bed I purchased for his crate and he goes to sleep just fine but since I’ve purchased softer beds I’ve been favoring those for use in his crate. He doesn’t seem to object to this one when the other beds are being washed, though, so still a great purchase at a very reasonable price!

Purchased one for my 5lb maltese. It looked soft in the pictures, but it is actually rough when you physically touch it.For comparison, I’ve touched most of the pet beds at a local PetCo and the midwest pet bed is the roughest out of them all.Tried washing it in the washing machine and it shed way too much. I’ve used seventh generation detergent while is very mild at a delicate setting with cold water. I had to literally scoop up the fallen fabrics. All in all, a very disappointing item.

I’ve purchased it 2x now, both times in the 22″ L, once in cinnamon plush and once in powder blue plush. This size fits a 11 lb dog just fine. Trust the pictures. The “plushiness” is as advertised, with cinnamon being very plushy and blue being much smoother. I do not put this in a metal crate. This size fits perfectly in a 26.2″ x 18.6″ x 16.5″ plastic pet kennel (by Aspen on Amazon) with a bit of room to spare. I believe it should also fit fine in the more commonly found 24″ plastic pet kennel. After over a year of repeatedly machine washing and drying (on high) the cinnamon one (since I had a puppy), it was permanently dirty and flat. I tried to replace it with an orthopedic one, but turns out she didn’t like that one so I bought another one of these, this time in blue. I put the new one in a waterproof pillow case (see my other reviews), so it still looks new months later! I don’t intend to go through the trouble of constantly washing and drying the bed again. In my human opinion, there are better beds, but since my dog so loves this bed, I would repurchase.

First off I have to say that for the first 6 months this mat was awesome. My 1.5 year old 65lb husky loves it. IT attracts dog fir but its easy to pick up wit my Dyson Torque 11 vacuum. However, my dog recently had an episode of diarrhea and some of it happened in the kennel on his mat. I have tried running the mat through multiple cycles in my washing machine under different settings and nothing seems to be able to really clean it. I spent about 35 minutes hand shampooing the mat with my Bissell shampooer and its better but still not back to what it was before. If it was not for the difficultly cleaning it after an accident I would have rated this a 4.5

I ordered this dog bed for use in a crate. I figured it would be soft and had the bolster around the edge for some extra comfort for my dog. It is soft and easy to clean (just toss it in the washer!) and it fits perfectly in the crate. There is one drawback…it sheds as much as my dog does. Maybe over time and after more washings it will stop shedding; or maybe it will continue to shed until it goes bald…who knows. Overall, it’s good…just be aware that you will find more than dog hair lying about.

This is a TINY TINY bed!!! Maybe a 6-8 week old kitten will fit comfortably. No joke. This is the tiniest bed I have EVER seen! I ordered 3, and was stunned when they arrived in such a little box, then I opened it and realized oh! No wonder the box is so small ! Jeez. Just be sure to proceed with caution!

This is not for a medium size dog! A cat maybe, or a little lap dog. It’s like a piece of cardboard with fabric on top of it. My dog literally gave me the dirtiest look when I set it out for her. She tried to get comfortable in it to no avail. My pit mix came up and just stared at me like, “Do you hate me this much?” Even my husband was laughing at me saying my dog now hates me and loves him more” I’m in tears this product is so awful. I’m pretty sure my dog is dreaming tonight about plotting my demise, all while she sleeps on the hard floor, I mean cardboard bed.

The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because by the looks of it, I thought it was going to be super soft. But my cat doesn’t seem to care. I should’ve got a size up, I got the smallest one. My cat is about 15 lbs???? but he doesn’t seem to mind that either. It does however have many things that a more expensive doggy/kitty bed doesn’t. Like the four corners all have those stretchy band type things that make it easy to attach it to a window perch or to hold down a cover if you wanted to put something over it.

Got this for my Basset Hound puppy. Paired with the Midwest crate it is a perfect fit. My puppy has peed on the bed several times resulting in it being run through the wash/dryer about 7-8 times now. Still looks brand new. Very soft. My puppy loves it. I only gave the “chew proof” option a 3 star because my puppy does not chew so I cannot comment on it. It does seem pretty soft and the material does not seem durable so I don’t imagine it would be too chew proof. That being said, mine has held up absolutely perfectly through all the potties and washes. My puppy eats and sleeps in her crate so it is used a lot and still is perfect!

I have a new little rescue dog. I ordered him a very expensive bed through the company where I bought his crate and then saw this one on Amazon. He actually got in the bed while I was unpacking it. Instead of putting it in the crate I put it on the couch and he loves it. I’m actually coming back now to order 2 more. One for the car and one for the living another place that he likes to lie in the sun.
KAG –
Arrived on time and looked just like more expensive ones. Thin bottom gives no support to dog. Within 1 day of use the fibers are coming out. I have blue tuffs of fiber everywhere. It’s like it’s molting. After washing, more blue fibers. Blue fibers stick to the dog. After second washing the mat now looks matted in some areas and the bolster stuffing had moved around so there are now flat spots. After 2 months this mat looks like a hard ridden 2 years old.

I have three of these (22”, white fake-sheepskin) wonderful beds: one by a radiator (which I’ve had for years), and two new ones: one on my bed, and one in Penelope’s teepee. I wish I’d gotten the additional two sooner. They’re such a good value! The bolster is the perfect height: low enough to rest her chin on, high enough to snuggle up against. She’s a 15 year old, 7 lb. cat, so she gets cold in northeast winters. The bed provides some snuggly warmth, but is also cool enough for her to sleep on in her teepee during the summer. I don’t know how they nailed it, but these things are just right. I recommended this to a friend with four awesome cats and hers love them as well.

Got two of these. Had to stop splurging on expensive beds because the 3 dogs in pic 1 like to chew up beds and we go through them like underwear. The dogs seem to like the new beds. The puppy (biggest dog) instantly wanted to chew it but with a little discouragement he decided he’d use the bed for what it’s meant to be used for. The beds are soft, but not super plush. Would use it in a crate, but probably only for short bits of time. I would suggest a more plush bed if your pup stays in a crate every night. That said, on the carpet these beds are perfect????. Will probably buy a couple more for different rooms in the house.

These beds are great inside a kennel & you can toss them in the washer to clean them. The price on this one is excellent. Do keep in mind that while the bumper (edges) are thick & plush, the floor or bottom of this bed is relatively thin. So it’s nice for a lighter weight dog but not great for a heavy/older or arthritic dog; just not enough padding for them. As always, be aware of what purpose you are asking the bed to serve.
M Elizabeth Lilly –
I purchased a 24 inch and a 36 inch pet bed for kennel. The 24 inch came Great!, the 36 inch came in the worst box ever, torn, open, re-taped, taped to product, box total disaster. Apparently though they are same, but different sizes, must come from different places. One box perfect, the other came in the worse box ever….even though it did not hurt the product and will need to be washed before first use anyway, still no excuse for such sloppy packaging. The 24 inch came in a perfect box that can be reused over and over. The 36 inch box could never be re-used. If not for all the re-taping, the product would have fallen out.

This is a really good, affordable crate pad. It is soft and seems comfortable, and is VERY easy to clean (just toss it in the washer). That being said, this probably isn’t the best fit for dogs who enjoy destruction, or dogs who get nervous/bored when in their crate and decide to do a little bed-shredding to pass the time. My dog got bored one night while she was shut in her crate, so naturally she tore a hole in the bed and pulled out all the stuffing. It didn’t seem to put up much of a fight again those teeth. She does have the same crate pad in her other crate, and since she is rarely shut in this one she doesn’t seem interested in destroying this one. I guess it mostly depends on the dog, but if your dog has a tendency to get bored, don’t shut them in a crate with this bed unless you want to wake up with with your living room looking as though the stuffing machine at build-a-bear exploded.

It is very sturdy. You can’t tell by the picture, but that little guy is a digger. He jumps in the bed, puts his head down, and goes to town trying to dig a hole to Australia. Thankfully he hasn’t succeeded. More importantly, the bed hasn’t ripped or worn down.Overall it’s a pretty good little bed. The padded roll around the edge is great. It has held its shape well and is even all around. The inside is thin, which is the norm for pet beds like this. I picked it for the retro coloring. My puppers insists on sleeping on the floor like a weirdo but he does choose this bed as his pillow. Good value for the price.

I have had this bed since mid October and it is STILL shedding these balls all over my house. I will clean and 10 minutes later there is a puff floating around. It is EVERYWHERE. and no it is NOT stuffed animal toy filling. I literally hate this bed for that reason. My dog loves it though, and visibly the bed seems fine, just brings these puffs out with her. She doesn’t shred her toys and I have not found a shredded toy so I know it is not a stuffed toys filling.

This is very soft with a nice waterproof bottom. The washing instructions indicate to wash only in an agitator- less washer. I have washed it once in my washer which has an agitator but I placed it with the fuzzy side facing away from agitator and washed it on the hand wash cycle (which I had never used) and it came out perfect. I am ordering another one since it is so nice for the price. It might not hold up if your dog tries to rip it but for my very small puppy it is great. I have another crate size bed which is much sturdier but it cost $40.
HammyHammy –
Bought this for our new puppy’s 36″ crate. It fit inside the crate perfectly, but she hates the crate itself, lol. So I’m donating the crate and keeping the bed. Its in the living room and she loves dragging all of her toys to play on it. She’s currently in her teething stage and she’s been chewing on EVERYTHING. Thankfully the bed has held up so far! No tears, no piling, none of the short fur like exterior flying everywhere. She also regurgitated a bit of food onto a corner of the bed but clean up was very easy. No trace of it left behind! Hoping it lasts.

It was okay for about 3 weeks… but then the fabric started to fall out when our puppy (a chiweenie) would roll on the bed or lay on it for extended periods of time. We then started running our hands over the bed and would pull our clumps of the fabric. Once our puppy saw that the fabric was coming up, she bit through the bedding in a hour or so and pulled out all of the stuffing.

A lot smaller than I expected but I should have looked at the dimensions. If you are purchasing this thinking it’s a bed it’s really not. It’s kind of like a mat that has A LITTLE BIT of filling & & lifted A LITTLE BIT on each sides.I guess for the price it would be okay if you were looking for a dog or cat mat and not a bed. However if you’re looking for a bed, I would pass on this one and go with a different product.

I use these bed to line my cat tower and occasionally the cat carrier. My cats seem to like them a lot and they are reasonably nice to look at. Unfortunately, when I wash them, the cat hair pills in the fake fur and they look really ugly so I don’t really want them in the center of my living room. I’ve tried using a hair remover and that works ok, but eventually they look pretty ragged. I can get about two years use out of one, then it needs to be replaced. I hate throwing things away, so that’s why I can only give these 4 stars.

This is a decent bed for a crate, but there is like nooo padding on the bottom of it which makes it kind of a hard surface for our Kona to sleep on. After seeing the MidWest Ombre Swirl Dog Bed in person, I bought that one and will be donating this one. The MidWest one is super plush, has a non-stick grip on the bottom, and it way more soft. Save your money and buy the other one instead.

Although it has a soft fluffy texture, the actual bottom part is not soft/thick enough to leave on my hardwood floor which is the only reason I bought this. A little deceptive. The criteria to rate by is only for:1chew proof2Easy to clean3SoftnessAlthough those are important, the main aspect should be quality and how the bottom will support your dog. The bottom is not plush but hard.
